Summary: Cogeco Cable disclosed revenue data for its Cogeco PEER 1 infrastructure services arm. Cogeco PEER 1 generated C$313.5m (US$284m) in FY15, up 3.4% y/y and represents around 15% of Cogeco Cable’s overall business. Adjusted EBITDA for FY15 came in at C$109.4m (EBITDA margin: 34.9%), up 6.7% y/y. Cogeco PEER 1’s revenue number includes application and managed hosting, colocation, network connectivity and managed services.
Data centre footprint: Cogeco PEER 1’s data centre footprint spans 21 data centres globally, 12 of which provide colocation services. Management noted 420k gross sqft of data centre capacity including the recent expansion in Barrie and the opening of the first phase of its Kirkland (Montreal) data centre.
